October exploration on the Tahoe-Pyramid Trail
This month we ventured out onto the Tahoe-Pyramid Trail and had a blast! The weather was perfect and the Fall colors were awesome. The 114 mile long trail starts at Lake Tahoe and follows the Truckee River all the way to its end destination at Pyramid Lake. The Floriston section of the trail was recently completed which takes riders and hikers all the way from Tahoe City to Reno/Sparks. One thing we really enjoyed while exploring near the Fleish dam was the suspension bridge. It allows you to walk over the top of the small dam and provides a unique perspective. It can be a little scary at first as it does move considerably and you should be careful while crossing. There are spots for fishing along this section of trail as well as popular climbing rocks. If you are looking for a great little getaway close to town with easy access this putting can't be beat. For more information and parking/direction please Click Here. Remember get out and explore craft culture daily! Oh and we tested out our lightweight zip-up hoodie. Just right for chilly late afternoons or early Fall mornings. It will be available for purchase online and in our retail store in the near future. Cheers!
